Introducing the improved Activity Report

We’ve updated the Activity Report to make it even more relevant and actionable.

The Activity Report isn’t new. You already could receive a weekly or monthly CHEQROOM Activity Report straight in your mailbox. This Report shows you what your team or users have been up to and how active the account actually is.

Today, we’re proud to announce the improved Activity Report: it gives you an even better overview of what’s happening in your account and is more actionable. You’ll be able to see at a glance how many relevant activities have taken place and where you might need to intervene.

This is what you’ll get in your inbox every week or month

Your CHEQROOM Activity Report will give you weekly or monthly information about:

  • Reservations
  • Check-outs
  • Custody 🌟 NEW
  • Items that have been flagged
  • Items that are out of warranty
  • Number of CHEQROOM sessions
  • Pending invites 🌟 NEW

🌟The biggest change🌟 & huge time-saver: we’ve made every item in the report clickable so you can access the information right away.

If your report says 5 check-outs are overdue, click the link to go straight to the overview of all overdue check-outs in your CHEQROOM account. You’ll get all the info you need: the users linked to those check-outs, their respective return date, etc.

Who is it for?

All users with permission to view reports can activate the Activity Report.

With regards to system roles, the following roles are able to get notified about activity in CHEQROOM:

  • The Account Owner
  • The Super Admin
  • The Equipment Administrator (only available in the Professional, Enterprise and Academic plan)

As for custom roles, everyone with the permission to ‘view reports’, can activate the Activity Report.

If you are a location admin with access to only one location – and were granted the permission to view reports –, you will receive an Activity Report for the location you’re responsible for.

Enabling the Activity Report

Since the Report gives you an immediate pulse of your account, we definitely recommend activating this option if you haven’t done so already.

You can do this in the Preferences section in your CHEQROOM account.
